Web Programmer Internship Opportunity
Web Programmer and Developer Internship Available at Eternity Web:
Eternity Web is looking for a motivated web programmer intern for the fall semester. This internship is perfect for a web development or computer science major, or someone who is passionate and knowledgeable about web programming. We have a funky, creative and efficient working environment and are looking for someone that fits in with our team.
TASKS & RESPONSiBILITIES:
• Gain experience through editing and maintaining various web sites
• Primary focus will be on programming for non-profit web sites
• Learn the latest Search Engine Marketing techniques
• Use and research the newest online technologies and programs
NON-PROFIT WORK:
• Each semester a team of interns will work together to create a web site and other marketing solutions for a local non-profit organization of their choosing. The web programmer intern will be in charge of creating the website by use of a skeletal CSS framework.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
• Junior or Senior at local college passionate about learning new web programming skills and helping the community
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• Must be able to work efficiently as part of a team and independently
• Self-motivated, persistent, patient, detail-oriented, trustworthy and honest
• Must be punctual and able to meet deadlines
• Also must have reliable transportation and be a non-smoker
• Majoring in web development or computer science is a plus but not required
• Intermediate Knowledge of CSS and HTML and basic understanding of PHP required
